I’m SUPER excited to announce and share with you all, a really awesome project in the works! Le Métier de Beauté, a prestigious make up line which is exclusive to Neiman Marcus and Bergdorf Goodman, has worked with me to create a kaleidoscope of makeup to be released in October for Breast Cancer Awareness, and they named it after me! 🙂 Representing the cause, the limited-edition pink packaging offers a fresh look to Le Métier de Beauté’s cult favorite Kaleidoscope kits and features a unique stacking system to house four shades: Light, Heart, Hope and Live. The limited edition Stephanie Kaleidoscope will be released October 8th online and at Neiman Marcus and Bergdorf Goodman stores throughout the country. The intent is to raise awareness and support for breast cancer, but especially to heighten awareness for younger women, such as myself who were diagnosed at a younger age. The average person tends to think that breast cancer is a disease that threatens women in the later years of life. Rather this has become a disease that can not only affect your mother, aunt, grandmother, but a disease that can affect your daughter, sister or friend. I’m trying to make some noise about this because I think there is a huge gap that exists and people need to know that anyone can be affected, as it is not defined by age. Not only is this a project and contribution of love, but 30% of the total Kaleidoscope sales will be going to the Susan G. Komen Breast Cancer Research Fund in an effort to help eradicate this disease. So far, the Stephanie Kaleidoscope is getting some really great press and will be featured in some major magazines! (I will be sure to follow-up later with all of this material). I will also be on a little press tour in October, traveling to some of the top producing doors at Neiman’s and Bergdorf’s, along with one of my closest friends Monica Gallegos (Sr. Vice President of Sales for Le Métier), to spread our message and raise money for the Komen Foundation. I will be posting about all of this as the month of October unfolds. I worked at Neiman Marcus all through collage, and met some amazing people who I formed life-long friendships with who have been so supportive. I love them so much for making this project come to life….Love you Monica!
I just wanted to share and give you a little preview into one of many cool projects to come. Stay tuned for more info!
XO
